Event overview

Mexico City Grand Prix

High altitude, a very long straight, and a stadium finale like nowhere else.

Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez is named after Mexican racing brothers Ricardo and Pedro Rodríguez. It sits in the Magdalena Mixhuca sports complex in the east of Mexico City, more than 2,200 metres above sea level.

The thin air reduces downforce and cooling, and the long main straight makes for heavy braking into Turn 1. The final sector threads through the Foro Sol baseball stadium, where stadium seating surrounds the cars.
